We believe that leadership skills, essential for today's challenges in scientific work, can be acquired and developed. Our goal is to enable scientists to productively deal with challenges related to interpersonal aspects of doing science.

In this practical course, designed specifically for Principal Investigators, you will learn how to:

• • deal with conflicts constructively
• • manage your time better
• • be more effective by setting priorities
• • set clearer goals
• • delegate tasks more effectively
• • deal with different personalities in the group
• • build and maintain the motivation of your group 

We approach these topics practically. Short theoretical inputs are followed by extensive exercises. Our goal is to increase the impact of the training by allowing you to immediately apply the concepts we teach in partner work, role plays or group discussion. To facilitate the interactive style of the course, the group size is limited to 16 attendees.
